  • All materials used in the construction of an XP-Airgun are aircraft grade and meet the Mil Specs of that material grade.  All fasteners are graded.

  • All parts are made on CNC equipment and our machine tolerances are comparable to aerospace specifications.

  • Hammer and bolt are coated with Super-Slick ceramic coating to eliminate wear and greatly reduce drag.

  • The bolt has a spring loaded ball detent to help keep it closed and prevent accidental opening.

  • 2 Standard Weaver mounts are supplied.  The top of the breech is drilled and tapped to allow rear scope mounts to be adjusted up to 2" in 1/2" increments .  Custom scope mounts are available in full breech or extended lengths.

  • XP-Airguns designed a unique safety feature built into all our airguns.  We use a hardened steel pin that locks the hammer away from the valve pin and does not engage the trigger.  The hammer locking pin allows safe filling, storage and transportation of the airgun without the possibility of an accidental discharge. The hammer pin is critical on the muzzle loader version. By locking the hammer off the valve, it is impossible to accidentally discharge the airgun while loading.  There is a hole, for the hammer pin, on both sides of the lower receiver for convenience. To insert the hammer pin, simply pull back on the bolt handle slightly and look for the hole in the hammer to become visible. To remove, pull back on the bolt handle to remove the spring tension and pull out the pin. This is not designed to act as a trigger safety.  If the airgun is cocked and the trigger is pulled with the pin installed, it will break off the pin and jam the rifle.

  • Stocks are included in the price.  They are available in a variety of materials: standard walnut and various color laminates.  They are shipped unfinished with 95% of the sanding done.  We can furnish them finished at an extra cost.   We can supply custom stocks.  Lead times are determined by stock maker, but different woods, checkering, caps, adjustable cheek and butt pads are available.  We will discount the airgun $200.00 if purchased without a stock.
